- Acute thrombosis or when movement is contraindicated
- Recent surgical procedures (in other body areas)
Shortly after:
- Dental procedures
- Eye surgeries
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections
- Steroid blocks (movement may be inadvisable for several days afterward)

- Post-orthopedic surgical conditions – educational visits possible only with the operating doctor’s consent
